Mulligans
General Mulligans
During the Mulligan, you are looking for Innervate and Wild growth mainly. You can aslo try to keep raven idol to find wild Growth or innervate, and if you don't find it you can take an other spell which may help you for the match-up (Ex. : Nourish against control and Wrath or living roots against aggro).
Swipe might be kept if you play against a zoo deck, but against other decks it it better to try to find other cards. Other spells can be generally kepts, especially if you have already find Innervate and Wild growth.
Concerning Netherspite historian, this minions may be really good if you have a dragon, and knowing that we play 8 dragons it arrives often, even turn 2.
You really don't want all other cards in your hand for the early game, so just throw them and try to get your spells :)
This deck tries to put two mechanics together : the ramp effect of the druid, which allows him to gain a lot of mana Crystal with cards like Nourish, Wild growth or even Innervate, and the dragon mechanic, This mechanic works well in this deck because we play 8 dragons, and can get more with Netherspite historian.
This deck draws a lot and can beat control deck, with big dragons like Ysera or just by taking the board with cards like Book wyrm or Blackwing corruptor, Fandral may also generate a lot of value with wrath, Raven Idol, and living root.
Against more aggressive decks, this deck may have also some good match up, because silence minions are no longer played and it means a free entrance for ancient of war or other taunt like Chillmaw and twilight guardian. However, notice that you really need to find innervate and wild growth in the Mulligan.
The worst match up of this deck must be Hunter midrange, which is aggressive and play minions which are really hard to kill. Midrange shaman is also hard to beat, but against these two decks, don’t forget: you play a dragon deck with the ramp effect of the Druid. These are the two mechanics that can beat everything with the good cards in the mulligan !
Enjoy my first posted deck, more will follow 😉
