Snake combo [TheoryCraft]

Goal is the usual warlock combo draw package with excavate to get the The Azerite Snake then play it and copy it with Brann Bronzebeard and Zola the Gorgon, presenting 40 health by itself over two turns but potentially 40 in one turn with sufficent discounts from Runed Mithral Rod, although you need discounts either way. Interestingly this is a combo deck where the combo can heavily benefit from Summoning Portal with two portals presenting 40 health in one turn, although that feels like a cute tech to avoid weapon removal rather than something optimal as a starting point as Runed Mithral Rod discounting all cards allows you to draw through your deck quickly.

Some other card choices could be Plague of Flames and Photographer Fizzle however I instead use Glacial Shard to stall minions and hero attacks over Plague of Flames and Hellfire to deal with aggro rather than Photographer Fizzle‘s ability to help win the mirror. Grave Defiler is their to copy Smoke and
progress your excavate quicker as a cheaper option compaired to the
other excavate cards and a small body to work with Dark Pact and Chaotic Consumption.

EDIT: The more I think about it Photographer Fizzle is very good, wins the mirror and getting extra copies of Brann Bronzebeard and Zola the Gorgon helps against hand disruption and allows you to quickly progress excavate progress with doubling battlecries.
