Tomorrow’s Tavern Brawl was supposed to be “Heroic Brawliseum” – the famous (or maybe infamous) Brawl where you need to pay 1k gold entrance fee to even start playing it. The potential rewards are – of course – somewhat worth if if you get to higher wins, especially 12 wins ones, which not only pay off your entrance, but also give you tons of packs, Dust and a few Golden Legendaries. On the other hand, failing to win even a single game will only compensate you with ~1/10 of your ticket price – a single pack.
The Brawl was previously announced to happen this Wednesday, May 18. However, because of the balance patch coming out on Thursday (May 19), Blizzard has decided to delay the Brawl by a week, to May 25. This is because they want players to get more familiar with the new meta before they participate – I would assume they also don’t want players to lock in a deck tomorrow for the same deck to get nerfed the day after.
We don’t know what Brawl will be used as a replacement yet.
???? Attention competitors! The Heroic Brawliseum will be moved to May 25 to allow players more time with the new meta after Thursday’s balance patch. We look forward to seeing you then!
