I’m tired seeing Burn / QL mage and feel so glad to see Mage getting more minions.
Don’t know if this can work. Probably need more Mech with Rush for the deck to work.
But in theme of Sea, Naga & Murlocs, I don’t really see Mech survives. So, finger crossed.

    2/5

This card is weird, if the meta’s slow or if mage doesn’t have many bombs post rotation this might see play. Most likely with the up coming abilities and no sign of pirate/hunter slowing down any time soon this will likely stay on the sidelines. Also am I the only person wondering why this card is in mage??? There is nothing mage about this card.

I was literally about to type the same thing! I thought for sure this was a warrior or hunter card.

Seems bad since its 8 mana,
too slow for the mana cost, vs Aggro its too late, vs control its not great,
unless there is some “ramp” or a scam way to recruit this minion.

I really like this! It reminds me of Mordresh but less feel bad. Its a big end game minion that provides threat and a board clear. Annnnddd it itself is a mech so you can get it off of the sunken sweeper! Also for people who want to run the new ” put three colossals on the bottom of your deck” this is a good one for that.

Two swipes on a 5/7 is a pretty decent board flipper (or even better if you had a mech stick beforehand). Even if mech mage doesn’t become a thing I can see both big spell and hero power lists making space for this.
