Update: Patch notes were updated, apparently the packs will be added retroactively “at a later date”. Dev team is still aiming for this patch, they just didn’t manage to do it yet. However, if you finish all 10 chapters for the first time after the patch, you will get your pack as you should (so at least that part was fixed).
The tenth and final part of Book of Heroes, one following the story of Illidan Stormrage, has been released last week. If you are one of the most dedicated PvE players and fully completed all ten chapters, you might have noticed a strange error popping up after finishing Demon Hunter’s story. It looked like you were supposed to get some kind of reward for completing every single part, but all you got was a placeholder message.
As it turns out – yes, you were supposed to get something. Community Manager Kerfluffle noted that fully completing this content should award a Golden Standard pack (on top of all the packs for individual chapters, of course). The pop-up is going to get fixed in this week’s patch. If you finished it already and didn’t get anything – don’t worry, all the packs will be distributed retroactively, so you should see yours after patch hits live server.
Separately, we’re aware of an issue where a pop up appears with placeholder text after finishing all Book of Heroes installments. We’ll be fixing this pop up in a patch next week and will be issuing a Golden Standard card pack to all players who completed Book of Heroes, which will be the reward for completing this content moving forward.
Yeah me neither. Patch the patch?
I updated the post, it looks like you’ll have to wait a bit longer :/
I had it when i logged on later today. Must have rolled in quietly as a hotfix? Either way if you don’t have it yet, check now!
Hooray! I was wondering about that.
Special note for new players: the “pity” counter for Legendaries works on Standard packs like this. So if you haven’t got a legend in your first ten of these, may want to save it for this one. Worth the dust even if its crap.
