Mulligans
The goal of the deck is to try and curve out and advance in the quest. It isn’t necessairy to only focus on completing a quest. It’s just an extra win condition against other control decks. Cards like Renew and Thrive in the Shadows help curve out. Renew costing 2 is actually a buff here, since it counts for the quest.
