This is… pretty good. It’s ok on turn 2 in an aggressive to midrange deck if the 1-drop survives, and has solid scaling into the midgame if you run taunts (and in a midrange Druid deck, you almost certainly do). Great in the right deck, 4/5
This is a great spell for my old, beloved and not much played taunt hadronox greybough wild deck.
The question what do you want to target with this. There are several good targets right now. Like corrupted Strongman, Clown(you can do it with innervate), Greybough or Prime. It even not bad with corrupted version of 3 mana dragon
Will the Copy have the +2/+2 too? This would make this card really good for Minion-based Archetypes! Anyways, it should find itself in Clown Druid if the Meta has Board Clears everywhere. Remember, Corrupt is not a buff but rather a transform effect, so when used on Carnival Clown it does not require another Old God / Survival of the Fittest and when used of Strongman it will give an additional 6/6. I dont think Druids will have much Trouble with the 11-Mana cost of the Clown/Mark Combo as they have Innervate and Lightning Bloom, which are otherwise dead cards in late game. And when they are played early, there will be no late game. The bigger problem of Mark of the Shell is the competition from Lunar Eclipse and other Early game cards. I think this will often be cut because you have enough Clowns already.
I actually think that Mark of the Shell is a Powerful Sleep Card, especially for something like Clown or Taunt Druid for example.
4 Stars. You can REALLY make use of Mark of Shell. I think people would just see Mark of Shell as a “not good enough” type card, but I see it a little bit better than a “2 mana 2/2 that draws a card.”
Hand of Adal was used in Paladin, so I’m sure Druid can find ways to use Mark of Shell, all I can see some trickery towards why some players don’t exactly like this card.
I think trump is right, its time for the mayor of valuetown to once again run for office
