Keep Flick when up against Druid, Mage, and Shaman (They can swarm the board fairly quickly).

If you have coin, keep Evil Miscreant. If not, the miscreant can still be viable with Foxy Fraud.

A good turn 1 play might be Preparation + Swindle + Wand Thief. Gets your card draw going and a mage spell is always nice. (Ice barrier / AOE clear is very important for aggro)

I’ve played several variations of the new C’thun Rogue, and I feel like I’ve reached one of the better builds for it. Rogue is generally meant to fight on board. However with the new big Priest cards, Druid cards, and even Mage cards, controlling with cards like Coerce and Malevolent Strike are what I have had the most luck with, because Rogue will always lose board.

The strategy is simple enough. Make sure you keep your Stowaways and Swindles when up against midrange and control decks, and shadowstepping the Stowaway/C’thun is generally your go to choice, (unless you really need to use it). The deck has good card draw, so that shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

Lastly, I’ve tried to make this deck viable against aggro by adding brain freeze, backstabs, and the foxy fraud (in case of no coin), but it will struggle against aggressive decks nonetheless because Rogue’s only real heal is Kronx, and I’m not running the Galakrond package. Your best bet is to hope that Evil Miscreant can give you something like Alexstraza.

An alternative is to try to modify the deck by taking out Backstab, Brain Freeze, and/or Foxy Fraud, which will essentially guarantee loses to Aggro but improve your chances against Midrange and Control.  Personally, I haven’t seen to many Hunters/Demon Hunters yet, so maybe this may work for you. Also, for Warrior, take silence off Wand Thief (for Rattlegore), and try to draw all you C’thun cards as quick as possible so your deck does not get flooded with bombs.

Any comments on how I can improve are much appreciated. This is one of the first decks I have made, and so far it’s going very well in ranked. (80% win rate against druid and warlock, 100% against priest, Around 75% against Mage. 50% against Warrior. Have barely seen Shaman or other aggro.)
