Hallow’s End Event Starts in a Week (October 1) – Most Likely Including Dual Class Arena

Unexpectedly, when launching the game players with an ongoing Arena run got prompted to finish it, because Hallow’s End event is coming to Arena in 7 days – on October 1.

Why Arena? Because over the last few years, Hallow’s End event featured a Dual Class Arena, custom format in which you could pick 2 different classes and get offered cards from both, ending up with some really interesting drafts.

Of course, Arena is always only one part of those events. Last year, we’ve got a big Doom in the Tomb event, bringing back Wild cards into Standard. However, the event had a very mixed response. In general, players liked the idea, but the specific cards that were brought back and devs not coming with a balance update when the meta was in a bad state lead to a lot of dissatisfaction.

As of right now, we don’t have any details about this year’s event, but given that it starts next week, we should probably learn more soon! We’re pretty sure that aforementioned Dual Class Arena will be a part of it, probably some special Tavern Brawls, maybe Legendary Quests, but other than that we’ll have to wait for official announcement.

I hope they learn their mistakes from recent “paid” event, where the players got very disappointed.
start bringing a smile to our faces when we play Hearthstone.
start showing why you are a better Card Games instead of making players leave for other Card Games who appreciate F2P more.
start showing that you care about your own base players rather than being a lazy devs who can’t make a simple different mode for those who really wants to play it, and leave the free one to the masses.
