Besides an early game minion that trades well, it can help prevent rogues from using seal fate on your face. It kinda plays the role of dire mole here.
1/3 for 1 is very good stats and together with Sharpshooter, it optimizes your curve plays. And there is the theoretical possibility to go above 30 health (with Zilliax, although this isn’t the reason Crystallizer is in the deck).
The deck works well, but I have been thinking the same thing. Been considering taking those two out and replacing with Deadly Shot and Shield breaker (to keep curve close to the same) or some other silence minion. I keep playing against embiggen druids and those will help a lot against their giant taunts.
I think it’s just a decent two drop with an upside. It’s also one of those minions which has a faux taunt on it for some reason.
As for Snake Trap, it’s the most fitting secret in this deck which aims to trade and do chip damage until a final burst. It’s particularly helpful for your faceless corrupter.
Also snake is not bad to keep in, I would replace stalker with a silence minion if I were to take it out. Silence is really good right now with cards like winged guardian and big boy van going around

Ah ok makes sense, thanks for the reply
Any particular reason crystallizer is in the deck?

I don’t get it … Phase Stalker with 1 secret.
It does seem a bit strange, and why is the secret snake trap of all things?

This deck is legit.
It can be a card draw, plus a decent body early game. I agree though, it goes better with at least two secrets in the deck.
