I see no reason why shaman won’t play this. Works with cards that require overloading creates a huge board value that would probably require several resources or all of your opponents Mana to counter it. This can also be played with haunting visions in the same turn even be discovered by it. Add in the new weapon this would summon a 10 cost legendary with 3 5/6 taunts.

This is only really a buff to the “random spell” pool. Nice.

Why am I paying the Maximum capacity of Mana and STILL getting Overloaded?!

Without drawing 3 cards, dealing 3 damage to all enemy characters, restoring 3 health to all friendly characters, gerring a treat between tea and coffee of my choice, fully recharging my phone battery, auto dusting Jade Idol, Resurrect, Mass Resurrection, Explpsive Runes, and other such Wild Breaking garbage from people c9llections and collections, you know, fun stuff?

Rated 5/5 because my Reno Runespear inspired by Danehearth just got 1% better.

Honestly my first thought was a new spiteful shaman in wild. Cheating this card out of your deck would be excellent!

This is a great card that I don’t see being effective atm in standard. I mean, net 13 mana for 33 stats and taunt is ridiculous. Its VERY slow so that is its only downfall.

    if two Dragon Pack equal 4x 4/5 body (16/20 – 10 mana)
    then this equal 3x 5/6 body (15/18) – 13 mana)
dragon pack still better I guess. (considering 2 invokes already done in T3/T4)
besides, 10 mana card not good for aggro.
5 mana dragon pack is still better.

I don’t get why people are rating this card so high. Is it just missing pre-nerf Dragon Pack that much?
Rain of Frogs sees no play at 6 mana; why would this at 10? Against aggro, you’ve already either stabilized or lost. Against control, you’d much rather have either value generation or AoEs.

Rain of Frogs only summons minions with 6 total attack. This card, on the other hand, summons minions with a total of 15 attack. In other words, Rain of Frogs could be ignored, while this can’t be ignored.
Either your opponent uses up a board clear like Twisting Nether, or they lose the game. And even assuming your opponent does use a board clear like Twisting Nether, they would be unable to do anything else on their turn asides from clearing the board, since they just spent eight mana.
So, the worst case scenario for this card is “skip your and your opponent’s next turns. Overload three mana crystals”. And overloading three mana crystals in the late game barely impacts the outcome of the game.
