Mulligans
General Mulligans
Our mulligan strategy goes as follows.
Try not to die in the early game so you can cast coldlight oracle 14 times later on. If you need help on this read any rouge guide ever made, by anyone, ever. O.k. good talk.
Go ahead, drink the Tea.
Have you ever wanted to cast Coldlight 14 times ? Well I have. So here it is.
I did the math and that adds up to 13,897 fatigue damage.
This deck is designed to take advantage of a shift in the meta game towards slower 10 mana minded control decks. It does this by attacking those decks through overdraw by recycling Coldlight Oracle. We then survive the fatigue battle by ganging up cold eyes oracle and thistle tea-ing them to death. At least that’s what I tell my self to justify making it.
Seriously though, how good is a C’thune deck when the C’thune get’s overdrawn? Probably not very good at all.
The Old Gods:
Xaril, the Poisoned Mind is a great addition to mill rouge. It’s toxins are all valuable additions to the core concept of controlling the board and the draw step.
You may be thinking that Thistle tea should have cost 5 mana and you may be right…However, Rouge has not one, not two but three awesome 0 mana cards. So, it kinda evens out. Not to mention I’m pretty sure if you thistle tea a vanish, your opponent will either DQ or find a way to punch you through the computer screen.
Fatigue Rouge Synergies
You may be thinking this deck is completely reliant on Coldlight Oracle, however that’s ridicules. Nothing could be further from the truth. The deck relies on a number synergies which I’ll list below:
Backstab+ Si7 agent
Blood Thistle Toxin+ Coldlight Oracle
Shadow Step+ Coldlight Oracle
Brann Bronze Beard+ Coldlight Oracle
Gang up + Coldlight Oracle
Vanish+ Coldlight Oracle
Thistle Tea+ Coldlight Oracle
Coldlight Oracle+ Your opponents draw step
The Dream:
Through a very simple sequence of events you to can share my dream. Here is how:
Step 1. Cast Coldlight oracle, Gang up said Coldlight, shadow step Coldlight , Cast Thistle Tea (hitting Coldlight of coarse)
Step 2. Next turn Brann, cast + 1 mana Coldlight, Coldlight , cast prep, cast Vanish, intermittently commit 0 mana spells as well
See, it’s that simple to win at hearthstone.
