Yesterday’s Battlegrounds MMR Changes Reverted – Rating Will Work Like It Did Before Update

Remember the yesterday’s Battlegrounds MMR changes that were accidentally introduced and undocumented in the patch notes? Well, even if you don’t, you definitely won’t notice any difference now! Apparently, they were just reverted. Even though they weren’t supposed to be released yet, initially Blizzard has decided to keep them around. Today they changed their mind and are now rolling their back. They most likely weren’t exactly working as intended.

The entire rating system should work just the way they did before this patch. More changes to the system are still being discussed, but nothing was shared as of now.

12/6 UPDATE: We’re in process of reverting the change that was accidentally made yesterday. What this means it that everything will be just as it was before yesterday’s changes. As far as the future of the MMR system is concerned, we’re still discussing how we want to proceed. We’ll be sure to keep you all updated!
