Regular early game of Quest Shaman. Mulligan for Corrupt the Waters Kappa

Hello! I’m random high legend (~300-100) Shaman player and deckbuilder. I want to share my thoughts about Shaman possible decks and present to you my Quest Galakrond Shaman. Pervious iteractions of my Shamans can be find here.

Finally no controversial cards! This deck is just changed evolve package for galakrond package, picking up some good synergies on it’s way. All new cards aside Galakrond package: Cumulo-Maximus, Nithogg provides good tempo, open new possabilites and moreover – have powerful battlecries. You can also swap x1 Novice Engineer for x1 Faceless Corruptor because it’s very powerful card which don’t benefit this archetype, but don’t harm it either.

The main question is… Why play Galakrond, the Tempest when you have Quest? Isn’t it harmful for gameplan? Well, you should treat Galakrond like end game finisher. First of all, you don’t have rubbish cards to invoke it, you have 2 decent one. You should play it only after quest (not so harmful set up, becuase it provides you 4 2-1 with rush). And then you play Galakrong with you ability to spawn 4 8-8 elementals with rush. Use it to clear board of aggro deck’s last push. Use it when Control Warrior game up all clears (unkommon situation I know). Use it 2 turns before combo-deck set ups it’s combo. It IS harmful for Quest Shaman, but it gives good game swing. It’s like Myra-Nomi for Rogue, but you actually don’t 100% lose if you fail.

Next deck is Dragon Control Shaman, you can find it here.
