Wild Secret Mage (September 2019)

Very aggressive Mage deck focusing on dealing as much damage to your opponent as possible (at least 10) in order to finish them off with double Pyroblast. Play as many secrets as you can as quickly as possible to activate synergies such as Sunreaver Spy, Cloud Prince, Kabal Crystal Runner, and Medivh’s Valet. Cards that assist in reducing the cost of secrets to zero include Kabal Lackey, Ancient Mysteries, and Kirin Tor Mage. Minions that snowball really hard including – Murlocs (all of them), Archmage Vargoth, and Khadgar – are all high priority minions that must be killed before anything else. Aside from taunts and HPMs (high-priority minions), always go face. The only counters to this deck are decks that gain a lot of armor and heal an excessive amount. Secrets should slow down your opponent and prevent issues that are inconvenient (i.e., Potion of Polymorph can remove an annoying taunt minion that has a deathrattle that spawns more taunt minions, such as Voidlord and Sludge Belcher, and Explosive Runes should most likely always give you a better board). Caution: if you play Aluneth, you are risking dying to fatigue so make sure you’re ahead or play it only if you need to draw cards to give you a top-deck lethal (opponent is on 9 health and drawing your last 3 cards with one of them being Pyroblast will win you the game). Additionally, Aluneth is not required and may be substituted out for another secret such as Ice Block or another damaging spell (Frostbolt, *Forgotten Torch, Fireball, etc.). Lastly, do NOT give your opponent time to recover and/or build a board.

This deck is highly viable and meta-breaking as I have climbed from rank 19 to 15 in one hour and from rank 15 to rank 5 in 3 hours.
