Mulligans
General Mulligans
These cards have the highest win-rate when keep in the mulligan, on hsreplay.com.
Budget Deck version of the aggro Bomb/Mech Hunter. This deck is an awesome cheap tier 2-3 deck that capitalizes on warriors and mages in the current meta (plus magnetizing minions together is really fun).
If you have the dust, Improvements to this deck could include:
Gyrocopter > Leeroy Jenkins – Leeroy is consistently one of the best legendaries in Hearthstone due to its ability to go into almost any type of deck.
Tracking > Zilliax – Although this is the most played legendary currently in standard, be careful crafting this card. It rotates out of standard at the end of the Year of the Dragon, so its life cycle is limited. Regardless, this card is well worth 1600 dust and can make a huge impact on the deck.
Tracking > Dragonbane This would be the last upgrade I would suggest and although Dragonbane can be useful there are cheap alternatives. If you don’t have the dust, throwing in another Gyrocopter could easily do the trick.
If you are new and didn’t get SN1P-SN4P during the Rise of the Mech event, then I would again suggest Tracking or Gyrocopter. If you don’t have Leeroy Jenkins then I would suggest the same cards as replacements for him, but because he is a classic legendary (meaning you keep him unless Blizzard decided to Hall of Fame him) then he would be the best legendary to craft for the list.
Some people running this list like the Gyrocopter in place of the Animal Companion playset which has some merit, but I find Gyrocopter to be a bit slow at times and can make the deck top-heavy. Plus Animal Companion is free as long as you’ve unlocked it through leveling the Hunter class and this is a budget build after all.
