Chinto’s DragonBran Mage

This a slight modification of the standard control Dragon Mage that takes advantage of Bran Bronzebeard. It’s a bit ambitious and isn’t meant for uber-competitive play. This deck runs on dream scenarios.

It is possible to have some very powerful tempo turns (Bran into Twilight Drake, Dr. Boom, or next turn Nefarian if you can protect Bran). There’s the life saving Antique Healbot, which can grab you an extra 16 life with Bran Bronzebeard. Even doubling the attack/health gain on Blackwing Technician or drawing 2 cards off of Azure Drake can turn the game in your favor. But the cards on their own are nice and strong. With 2 Flamestrikes, you can hold down the board and develope your own, and you have the potentially game-winning Ysera finisher.

Notes: If you want to go a bit more aggressive, you can sub out Sylvanas for Emperor Thaurissan. He can get you to your late-game faster or help you get off a sizeable Bran combo sooner (i.e 2-drop Bran Bronzebeard and 8-drop Nefarian on turn 10), but Sylvanas is a nice control choice.
