Mulligans
General Mulligans
Most of this is standard procedure for Midrange Hunter, I've added Hunter's Mark because of the sheer amount of synergy that the addition of five additional rush minions produces, making it typically very close to hard-removal.
A Midrange Hunter list with a Corpsetaker package to help against aggro since Deathstalker Rexxar already works so well against control. The 2nd copy of Hunter's Mark is due to added synergy with Vicious Scalehide, Zilliax and to a lesser extent Amani War Bear.
War Bear was originally intended as a topend alternative for Savannah Highmane on account of it having taunt in case you draw Zilliax and rush allowing it to effect the board even if it gets removed the turn after it’s played. It’s swung the game both on its own and with Crackling Razormaw more times than I can count, the later of which has won me plenty of games I easily had little to no chance to win at that point. It and Zilliax offer efficient and relatively large rush minions capable of fantastic trades while putting a sufficient speed-bump on the opponent’s plans.
I never expected it to work so well in this deck but it’s done just about everything I could have asked for.
Updates:
–Harrison Jones for card draw instead of Master's Call.
-Added Stormwatcher for boosting Corpsetaker‘s relevance in control matchups.
