General Mulligans

N.B.: You don't want bluegills in your opening hand, shuffle those away. In some matchups, namely vs aggro, you only want to cast surrender to madness by turn 6; then Bwonsamdi and Spirit of the dead are your most wanted on the mulligan. Gravelsnout becomes a dead card vs aggro. Don't be afraid to use bluegills as removal vs aggro, you can keep them in the mulligan too.

This is a combo/aggro deck that aims to wear down your opponent with aggression, and then burst them for between 16 (one surrender to madness) to 40 (4 surrender to madness) damage in late game using surrender-to-madness-buffed bluegills replicated with vivid nightmare.

Card picks:

The combo requires Bluegill Warrior, Surrender to Madness, and Vivid Nightmare

Draw is very important, so the standard max-draw priest package is included: Northshire Cleric, Circle of Healing, Wild PyromancerAcolyte of Pain

Aggro is important, so the Lightwarden + Crystallizer package is included (it already synergizes with the draw package). Since surrender to madness is being played, Gravelsnout Knight and Faerie Dragon are good choices (think a 1 mana 5/6 that summons a normal 1 mana minion for your opponent, and a 2 mana 6/5 untargetable).

Bwonsamdi, the Dead is good for late-game card draw.

Spirit of the Dead  is good because it puts cards in your deck to be buffed with surrender to madness. It can also provide a markoff on your bluegills. It also combos with flameblood, or flameblood plus vivid nightmare. It also provides more targets for Bwonsamdi to hit.

Crystalline Oracle  is a flex slot filler picked because it’s one mana and provides pseudo card draw.

Zilliax  is just a good card and a 6/5 zilliax is even better.
