Mulligans
General Mulligans
Generally the combo core cards are the most important cards to keep in your hand but sometimes you need to think about what can happen and if will be useful not trade it with some cards to stay safe to the end.
But pls, do not keep arcane(s) tyrant(s) in your mulligan.
Aggro Mulligans
Aggro decks can easily down you if you don't take care (or get a bad hand).
Armor and utility cards to slow the game will help you a lot. Clear the board sometimes can help you too (and give some stress to your opponent
Midrange Mulligans
Like Aggro decks you will need to be careful against mid range decks (more than ever IMO). If you don't (unfortunatelly) get helpful cards against the climax turn(s) of this decks, it will be bad for you. Boardcleaner cards like Starfall or Swipe can help you too.
Combo Mulligans
Against combo decks your game will be a race. The first who reach the combo will win.
Naturalize to try a overdraw while Nourish can be effective to give you access on core cards fast.
Control Mulligans
Control decks aren't too powerful against this deck (IMpoorO). They are slow and you can easily rush your combo. Take care, don't waste important cards and play safe, when you reach the combo, win.
But remember to take care against Walock control decks, Demonic Project can easily destroy your game
Basically, Skulking Geist easily shut down Druid C’thun decks.
So i tried to slow a little bit the speed of the combo using Flobbidinous Floop, gaining more options to activate the combo (Starfall, Naturalize, Lesser Jasper Spellstone, 2 Wrath, Starfire)
Also, a chance to taunt your enemy to waste potential cards on Mecha’thun, on the way to show your real “trick”.
Things that you must know:
- With Flobbidinous Floop, the last minion that you can play need to be Mecha’thun, or you will lose the combo. The card (if in hand) will copy the last thing that you played, so, if you play Mecha’thun before Arcane Tyrant, Gadgetzan Auctioneer or witchwood piper, just cry.
- I don’t like Infestation. Most of times: buffed my fatigue, burned important cards. A card with high cost, high risk. Too conditional, better in Malygos decks IMO. Witchwood piper + Juicy Psychmelon may help you better in your combo, and you can play after have no cards in your deck without pain
- Twig of the world tree helped me a lot, not just in the combo but to keep me safe. You can use in a lot of ways. Not really necessary, you can replace it.
- This variation of Druid Mecha’thun decks can show you more ways to go with the combo, so, just fly.
The most important cards of this deck: Flobbidinous floop and Mecha’thun.
Thank you for the attention and sorry about my bad english.
Good game and have fun!
