Mulligans
General Mulligans
Keep Spellstone only if you also have a 1 drop and some sort of healing card. Tempo is important so curving out is vital for the success of this deck.
An aggresive build of paladin utilizing healing synergies and high tempo to race your opponent.
Your 1 drops ensure you take damage turning on your healing cards. A 1 drop followed by Vicious Scalehide and Happy Ghoul can already put you far ahead. The rest of the deck ideally gives you little tempo swings to turn the game in your favour.
Bloodsail Raider is a great 2 drop off the back of Light's Justice
Sword of Justice into Lifedrinker / Happy Ghoul . Fungal Enchanter and Lesser Pearl Spellstone synergise to ramp out your 6/6 taunt and The Glass Knight fills a niche gap and can really control the board if unopposed.
Equality & Avenging Wrath can be used for the final damage push or to just try to come back into a game that has gotten away from you.
Acidic Swamp Ooze and Blood Knight are tech choices and can be flexible depending on what you are facing.
Captain Greenskin can be replaced by Leeroy Jenkins – so far in testing I’ve preferred the Captain, but you could make an argument for both.
I really like the idea of the deck, as finding a use for Spellstone was getting pretty difficult. Unfortunately I’m missing almost all epics and legendaries (except for Greenskin) which kind of makes this deck unfit for my collection 🙁
