Deck Import

The Plan of the Deck is quite simple. As we are playing Lakkari Sacrifice , we want to trigger the quest consistantly. Therefore we are using two kinds of cards.

On the hand we have simple discard trigger effects by

Soulfire

Howlfiend

Lakkari Felhound

Doomguard

and on the other hand we got little master plan cards with Cataclysm and Deathwing. While the first have mostly a nice body and will give us 1-2 cards to discard, we can get slowly to our goal without giving up the board completely, the Cataclysm effect allows us to trigger the quest with one single card and its not unlikely to do this on turn 4. Deathwing isn’t mainly added to the deck for its discard effect, but if we fail to activate it earlier, it helped me in some rare games to get it. Mostly we draw her into an empty hand and can play a nice boardclear-body to finish the game.

We have a second win condition by just adding Bloodreaver Gul'dan to the deck. The power of the new hero power in addition of summoning doomguards and the Imps is just insane.

Shortly i will go through the other cards now:

Kobold Librarian: Good 1 Mana Draw Card to get Cataclysm or other discard cards fast.

Mortal Coil: Little Removal in addition to more draw, which(draw) is really essential in this deck.

Clutchmother Zavas: With the right rng moments or a small handsize at the later stage of the game this insect becomes a monster for 2 Mana.

Defile: One of the best board clears vs aggro, still worth later in the game in many scenarios.

Vulgar Homunculus Big body for 2 mana to save the early game.

Lesser Amethyst Spellstone Firstly not added to the list, but it runs much smoother with better winrates (i guess, i did not check it on data yet).

Blood-Queen Lana'thel: Amazing life steal with a huge body in the lategame.

Cruel Dinomancer: If we discarded Bloodqueen or Doomguards we can just get them back pretty nicely.

Azalina Soulthief: Later in the game we don’t have much cards in hand and this legendary will make so much value. She rescued me many times in nearly lost games.

Lord Godfrey: Not sure about him. He always triggers twice with imps on the field and is an amazing board clear, but maybe there are better alternatives. Because board clearing isn’t the main problem in that stage of the game.

The last card in the list, which i didn’t mention yet is Drakkari Enchanter. To be honest, he is just added as a result of testing because the cards I’ve added so far, didn’t go so well. Drakkari allows us to spawn 4 Imps every round but most of the time its just too much and not needed. I guess this will be changed soon.

Thank you for reading my short submission of this deck. I apologize for any mistakes I made (english isn’t my native language). Feel free to discuss or give me some tips to make the forgotten Warlock quest great.

Honestly, I don’t think slapping all discard-effect cards in one deck is the best way to go with Quest Warlock. Howlfiend and Clutchmother Zavas are just terrible cards that even masochists would not want to use. I think it’s better to just drop a well-timed Cataclysm on the board when it’s not expected (so maybe avoid playing Quest in Turn 1).
