Update: August reward is now available, and sadly this time it’s 3 more Standard packs. It’s not the worst reward ever, but a random Legendary is clearly a better option. It’s also the last Prime Gaming reward after many months of freebies. Maybe more will come in the future – if they do, we’ll let you know!
Blizzard is partnering with Amazon’s Prime Gaming in the coming months. We’ll get “free” in-game content for multiple Blizzard titles including Hearthstone. “Free” because you need to pay for Amazon Prime sub, but many people do it anyway for other benefits like Twitch Prime or their streaming service. It certainly won’t be worth doing it just for the Hearthstone freebies, but it’s a nice bonus if you play the game.
For Hearthstone, we’ll get four random Legendary Cards + multiple Standard card packs. However, the items will be spread over multiple months. The offer is ending on September 14, so I would assume that we’ll get a new item every ~25 days or so.
Technically you could claim your free month of Prime trial, but you won’t be able to pick all of the items since – as I’ve already said – they will be spread over multiple months. If you time it right, you might be able to pick up a few of them, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle.

In-game content for other Blizzard titles including Overwatch, WoW, and Starcraft: Remastered will also be available.

In slow games only those 2 cards maters most of the time, is so boring.

I just logged in today and have my sub active and i cant claim any rewards.. and i have not claimed july rewards! any ideas?
what is the chest reward for august? cards? dust? battleground? mercenary?
No idea yet, maybe 3x Standard Pack, but I would hope for something more.
Wow got myself an extra bunch of dust was lucky enough to get the druid quest and starfish silence minion. Then I got 2 copies of Dragonbane shot and multistrike which I’d already disenchanted my first copies of. The odds of getting copies of the 2 refunded ones mist be next to zero maybe a bug where duplicate protection kicked in when it sgouldnt

Interesting, I thought that it’s a month all around. 7 days will still get you 2 rewards guaranteed if you time it right, but I think you could snatch 3 with a whole month.
I assume if I wait until after the expansion drops, then the legendary and packs will be from the new set, correct? (I have all the legendaries in the current standard.)
Assuming it works like any previous free Legendaries, then yeah, they will have duplicate protection. So if you own all of the Year of the Gryphon Legendaries, wait until Sunken City’s release and claim it then, you should be guaranteed to get a Legendary from the new expansion.
