Tavern Brawl Week Nine is The Great Summoner Competition! Here’s the official description of this Tavern Brawl:
Summoners from across the world have come to compete. When you cast a spell, a random minion of the same cost is summoned for you!
This is a repeat from Week 4’s Tavern Brawl!
Scenario
Every time you cast a spell you get a random Minion of the same cost e.g., Arcane Intellect (3), spawns a random (3) cost minion, draws 2 cards. Decks are player created from any class.
Tips/Interactions
- One interesting thing to note is that if you spawn a minion like Flamewaker from a spell, the trigger will actually go off. This also works with Wild Pyromancer which will sometimes help and hurt you!
- 0 Mana cost spells like The Coin have two possibilities: Target Dummy or Wisp
- 10 Mana cost spells like Pyroblast and Mind Control have two possibilities: Deathwing or Sea Giant
- If your card is under the effect of something like Loatheb, you will summon the increased cost minion. Preparation summons the reduced cost minion.
- Lightbomb will deal damage to your newly summoned minion.
- Twisting Nether will also destroy your newly summoned minion!
