Anyone who got into legend with this deck but without patches? Or knows it is possibie? I’m on rank 2 done by Even Shaman and i’m thinking about trying to reach legend with odd rogue.
This deck got me from rank 25 to rank 3 but I run Cap Greenskin and Ironbeak owl in place of the 2 Horseriders. Best Aggro deck for wild (In my opinion). But fair warning, I also struggle against even shamans.
Loatheb can be absolutely crucial against the other decks spell heavy decks which are normally very bad matchups with this deck. Its worth a craft dude
Why would you ever play Nightmare Amalgam? There are so much better cards: Fungalmancer, Dr. Boom, Cobalt Scalebane, Deadly Poisen, Owl or if you face a lot of paladins: Fan of Knives
In this deck are 10 other pirate cards… there are enough pirates and there are only 2 cards wich have a synergy with pirates (Shady Dealer and Southsea Deckhand).
Nightmare Amalgan is just a vanilla 3/4 (which is kind of bad in wild). For me this card is only good if you play the additional murloc package to have another benefit of all the creature types. I can highly recommend Vicious Fledgling (has soft taunt and if your opponent didn’t have a removal, the card snowballs like hell) or Fungalmancer (always in the top 5 cards for odd rogue on hsreplay [played/drawn winrate]) .
But that’s just my opinion => No offense
The lists on HSreplay seem to use the 2/1 divine shield charger instead for a 3 drop, and they do not run greenskin or a second vilespine for double fungalmancer. But the amalgam has synergy with southsea captain which is good.
Yep, Argent Horseman really performs. But it shouldnt really be viewed as a 3 drop, I almost never play it on curve. In any case it is much better than nightmare amalgam.
Is patches still necessary or is he replaceable now? I recognize his value in this build but I dusted him after the nerf. If he isn’t necessary what would a good replacement be?

Captain Greenskin, Loatheb, Void Ripper, Tar Creeper, and Blink Fox are all reasonable replacements.
I think that Loatheb definitely is the best replacement for Loatheb.

He’s definitely very good, but not as mandatory as he used to be. A second copy of Ironbeak Owl or a Fungalmancer would work as a replacement.
