I actually made legend just yesterday with this exact deck list. Works perfectly in this meta, it’s all about learning mu’s and what to do. Absolutely love this deck. Defender of argus easily mvp along with potion of madness (stealing brann->nefarion/dragonoid/other shenanigans. Really happy with this deck.
A few thoughts:
– For the ladder, you will need Excavated Evil (quite a bit of 3-toughness stuff running around)
– Even in the mirror, the Dragonfire Potion is still reasonable (quite a few non-Dragon threats, like Blackwing Corruptor)
– Lose the Azure Drakes (spell damage is almost completely irrelevant in this deck), in favor of more tempo-affecting cards. Like +1 Acidic Slime Ooze and +1 Book Wyrm (which is excellent in the mirror)
– It’s a matter of personal choice, but I’ve found -1 Power Word: Shield and +1 Entomb to be very helpful in a number of matches.
I would like to inform everyone before you hop on the hype train that Thijs’ decks here are TOURNAMENT decks. Meaning he has tweaked them to fit the tournament, tweaked them to fit the opponents he’d be facing. A tournament deck is by no means a ladder deck, however, it is of course still a good deck.
One good example of why this deck is tournament orientated and not ladder orientated, is that he has no Dragonfire Potion in the deck. Since a majority of tournament decks right now are running dragons, it would be borderline useless for him to add it. For ladder however, I recommend taking this deck but swapping out either 1 Shadow Word: Pain for 1 Dragonfire Potion, or if, by your own judgement while climbing the ladder you deem it necessary, swap out 1 Shadow Word: Pain AND 1 Shadow Word: Death to add 2 Dragonfire Potions.
TL;DR Swap either 1 Shadow Word: Pain for 1 Dragonfire Potion or swap 1 Shadow Word: Pain and 1 Shadow Word: Death for 2 Dragonfire Potions

Do u think potion of madness is really that good for ladder?
Thijs plays in on ladder as well. I feel like You are too categorical about proposed changes.
Dragonfire Potion is often useless because Dragon Priest fights for the board so well. It is often just strictly inferior to Holy Nova. And Potion of Madness is one of the best cheap removals against any aggressive deck
