I’m trying to get better at miracle and I immediately noticed that there are no tomb pillagers at all. I figure pillager pays for itself twice over because it’s a good body and also enables gadgetzan on turn 6 regardless of whether you started with the coin or not. Please correct me if my thinking is wrong somewhere. Can you explain why you wouldn’t play two pillagers instead of x1 shadow strike/x1 shiv (as an example)?
Replacement for thalnos
Deadly Poison.
Can someone please help me understand the lack of violet teacher?
No reason for it, the deck plays like old miracle where you draw your deck and burst then for 20 with pirate and faceless
Replacement for xathril
Second Deadly Poison.
Thanks 🙂
i changed it like this:
+1 Southsea Deckhand -1 Shiv
😀
Lovin’ the old-school-ness of this deck. <3
What would you pull if you wanted to add Yogg-Saron?
You don’t want to. Decks like this are a greased machine and you can’t have a 10 drop sitting in your hand. You want to win by turn 8 or 9.
No I get that. I do. I just wanted to add a fun second “miracle” condition. I eeded up pulling a SI 7 agent.
Why run faceless?
You can combo it with Southsea Deckhand and Cold Blood for a burst finisher.
Equip weapon = 1 damage (2 mana)
Double cold blood + Southsea Dechand = 10 dmg (3 mana)
+ Faceless = 20 damage (5 mana)
10 mana for 21 damage.
Oldschool Leroy decks did 26.
Thats only 5 damage off!
All hail new standard XD
