Hello I’m molquo and I’m a french casual player, so excuse me for my english π
I reached rank legend with this deck on april 2017. It’s an adaptation of these two decks :
– Gcttirth : http://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/gcttirths-ungoro-dragon-priest-april-2017-season-37/
– Bestmarmotte : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6QKsm4xCZg&t=1300s
I climbed for rank 5 to legend with this one, I’m going to explain my changements.
I met too much war and i never knew if it was Quest or Pirate, so I decided to put Gluttonous Ooze which is very good in these two match-up and even against Mage and Medivh !!! And it’s on ok body. I put Free From Amber in order to smash control decks (War, Chaman), you can touch it with Shadow Vision and it’s very strong !!! The potion of madness is very strong against Hunter and all aggro decks. Inner Fire can save you from desperate situation.
This deck is not so easy to play because you have to choose the good spell at the beginning and then with Shadow Vision. You have to know that If you have it in hand you can’t pick it. There is only one Shadow Word Death so you have to be vigilant.
Mulligan and Match-up :
War/Shaman/Paladin/Hunter/Drood/Mage : Keep early minions and shadow word pain, and power word shield if you have minions. I keep also gluttonous ooze against war and potion of madness against hunter.
If it’s war pirate trade until primordial drake try to find a lot of aoe and your shadow word pain, against Quest put a lot of pressure on him and try to find Free From Amber, twilight drake can be your best asset.
Against Mage break the Medivh weapon and try to steal an ice block. Try to fin Free From Amber.
Rogue : Oh bad match up but you have to play dragon fire potion early, so … deal with it π You can make a funny combo : steal his Igneous Elemental and kill it ! But It’s not a win condition.
Priest/Warlock : Don’t really saw these classes but against priest play your Twilight Drake of course and find Free From Amber (into Ysera ? π )
It is my first deck I will try to make a better text latter.
