Apxvoid is one of the most respected Tempo Mage players around. His new Standard Tempo Mage decklist includes a couple of interesting additions. Crazed Alchemist has been seeing some play in decks like Zoo, it finds a spot here as a way to remove Totems and pesky Doomsayers. Mirror Image is a card that hasn’t seen much play, but functions as a way to stop aggro or getting bursted out by something like Doomhammer.

any good replacemeht for arcane blast?
There isn’t really, but you could put in a second Mirror Image and Spellslinger.
I really like this deck. Seems very balanced to me and I love the spellslinger, he seems like a perfect unit to open with, since people are used to nuking mana wyrms and sorcerer’s apprentices. Also, crazed alchemist makes a perfect slot for another card, if needed.
Replacement for arcane blast?
Replacement for Antonidas ? ( i know any other card won’t be able to be compared to the archmage, but i really don’t know what to put instead )
Second Summoner or Conjurer.
Can someone explain the inclusion of crazed alchemist to me? I know it can remove doomsayers but what else does it do??
It also removes a lot of Shaman tokens, and can help you trade more efficiently if you use it on one of your minions.
So is Crazed Alchemist going to be a new tech card for now?
It seems to be popular right now.
What does a tech card mean? Like some sort of utility card?
A tech card is generally something that is used against something that’s popular in the meta. So right now Doomsayer and Shaman are popular, so Crazed Alchemist can remove Doomsayer and 0-Attack totems. Harrison Jones is another tech card that’s used when weapon decks are popular (like right now).
